Workshop for Construction of Thermal Mass Rocket Stove

                                                                          
So, what is a rocket stove?

• It is an extremely efficient wood-burning stove, using only one fifth of the amount of wood than a conventional burner.        
• It is a "thermal mass" heater, so as well as producing radiated heat, it can provide slowly-released under-seat heating.           
• It can be used for cooking and boiling the kettle.

• It can be adapted to provide all your hot water.
  
• It can be easily constructed, using cheap, mostly recycled materials
• It produces a two-stage burn, giving an efficiency of 90%, at a very high temperature.

You are invited to come and participate in the construction of a Thermal Mass Rocket Stove,on a weekend workshop at Varzea da Gonçala, Aljezur, on 4th - 5th February 2012.

By the end of the weekend you should have all the knowledge required to build your own Rocket Stove at home.
The workshop fee is €70, which includes all meals on both days, and camping with hot showers.
