General Information and Facilities

Accommodation 

Guests can camp or arrange to stay in one of our 2 traditional Portuguese rammed-earth cottages.  These are located around a communal terrace where there are tables for outdoors dining and gathering.  
This leads off to the gardens, children's play area and paddling pool, and the covered outdoor social area - complete with traditional clay bread oven, bar and open fire. 

Accommodation is provided on a self-catering basis.
Fresh organic produce available as in season! 

The Cottages
Each 2-bedroomed cottage sleeps 5 people and has :-
Kitchen (gas cooker, fridge, sink,  cutlery, crockery, cooking pots)

Bathroom - one cottage has a bath with shower over, bidet, wc, basin, while the other has shower, wc and basin.  

Living room with sofa, woodburning stove, dining table and chairs.

Bedding and towels are provided, and a 
washing machine is available for use. 

We use composting toilets here, which are located near the cottages
The price is all-inclusive, there are no additional costs.

Electric is supplied by mains. 
Water is from a borehole which has been analysed, showing excellent chemical composition.
Hot water is provided by a solar system, with gas as a back-up in winter.
We ask guests to respect our grey-water cleaning system and to only use soap, shampoo, toothpaste, detergents etc that contain only natural ingredients - these are available at reasonable price and locally made.

Camping Facilities
There are several sites suitable for natural camping here - alongside the river, close to the houses or further up the hill. There are outdoor solar showers, cooking facilities, composting toilets and a washing machine available for use.
